Thank you Wade’s Charity for our new 50 metre handrail
The week commencing 15th December saw the installation of our new 50-metre-long handrail.
Running the full length of our “Clematis Path” , that provides a natural viewpoint on the upper slope of the Rehoboth. The handrail complements a fully accessible wheel chair compliant path and completes the year long programme of installing seven sets of handrails to enable full access for visitors and volunteers.
This installation can be seen clearly from outside the Rehoboth. When weather and temperatures permit it will be primed and hammerited, wire with tensioners to support the growing Clematis will be fitted, and our solar powered irrigation system for the Clematis will be turned live.
Many thanks to Wade’s Charity for funding this work.
