Replacing the long lost "Rehoboth Lion"

The double iron gates are the only entrance to the Rehoboth; both gates featured double sided lion sculptures, sometime throughout the years the lion on the left hand gate had been removed.

From our fundraising and a donation from Yorkshire Water we engaged an antique metal restoration expert who made a cast from the remaining lion, and created two replacements in cast iron. These were fixed within the gate on 2nd October 2020.
