Creating accessible paths in the D Section

A major piece of work commenced in February 2024 with the first stage, (which comprises 75% of the work) completed by Easter 2024.

The project was to create a full accessible network of what will be six downhill paths, linked to a double width, wheelchair accessible link path running along the bottom of the six paths.

Stage one consisted of four downhill paths and the complete link path with many volunteers and placements taking part in the construction.

Funding was provided by Leeds Community Fund and Neighbourly.

This project has now opened up for relatives, volunteers and visitors a large and previously inaccessible area of the Rehoboth.
