When the Reindeer came to Farsley
The Rehoboth Reindeer were back in town with bells and ribbons!
All our reindeer were fed, counted and securely stabled, and awaited their launch, (and freedom) at the Farsley Christmas Lights switch on held on Wednesday 26th November from 6.00 pm).
Our charity stall was situated in Sunny Bank Mills car park, just above Sutcliffe’s of Farsley and Trueman Books, and was clearly identified with inflatable reindeer on its roof proudly adorned with “Rehoboth Reindeer” signs.
All the reindeer were sold either on the night or outside the Rehoboth gates over the following week.
We assisted the Farsley Christmas Lights team with a bucket collection, including three placed in local pubs which raised £176 to assist with the costs of the event.
In total £750 from the sale of reindeer was raised. Once again our sincere thanks to our skilled wood carver, Robin, for crafting the reindeer, our forestry volunteers for cutting and recycling the wood and those who made our stall a resounding success.
