Aviva Community Fund Awarded to Farsley Rehoboth

In November 2018, the Aviva Community Fund was our first fundraising success. They gave us a grant of £1000 which enabled us to secure the services of a solicitor to facilitate the purchase of the Rehoboth, and paid for our first year’s insurance.

The Aviva Community Fund chose us once again in March 2021 to be one of their selected community charities and benefit from their regular monthly fundraising initiative.

Our “Going back in time” fundraising initiative was featured from 16th February until 23rd March 2021 and included donations from our supporters and the wider community as well as from Aviva staff.

Our “Creating and maintaining a sustainable environment” fundraising initiative was featured from 26th October until 7th December 2021 and also included donations from our supporters and the wider community as well as from Aviva staff. We also received match funding from the Aviva Climate Fund.

In August 2022 we were selected for Aviva’s Autumn 2022 fundraising initiative which ran until 20th September and raised further funds for our reclamation work.

We were selected in March 2023 for a campaign running from 31st March to 11th May 2023 with additional support from the Wild Isles Foundation, who double all donations.

We were selected for the October/November 2023 “Wild Isles” campaign. We are delighted to report that, through to your support, £4905 plus an estimated £316.25 in Gift Aid was raised, when the campaign closed on 24th November 2023.

These appeals helped us to raise funds to enable us to continue with our reclamation work with emphasis on installing an electricity supply, to fuel work tools, nature cameras and also that our hardworking volunteers can have a freshly made cuppa whilst on site!

All contributions were greatly appreciated.

Aviva Charity Appeal thanks the following named donors for your support with our 2021, 2022 and 2023 “Going back in time…” and “Creating and maintaining a sustainable environment“ campaigns.
